This travel module through northern Tanzania is ideal if you are short on time or planning a follow-on programme. With an experienced driver-guide you go on safari in Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti – where you follow the Great Migration.

Our 5-day travel module through northern Tanzania is perfect for anyone who only has limited time or an individual follow-on programme. Together with an experienced guide, you set off on impressive safaris in Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the famous Serengeti. In the Serengeti, your safari follows the Great Migration. This private safari for two or more people on your preferred date is accompanied by an experienced English-speaking driver-guide; for a small surcharge, a German-speaking driver or interpreter can be booked. Included are game drives in Lake Manyara National Park, a five-hour crater tour in the Ngorongoro Crater, safaris in the Serengeti and the return flight from the Serengeti to Arusha. You stay in comfortable accommodation that supports the local community. We are happy to plan an individual follow-on programme with you.

  • Day 2
Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park – Karatu

    Country Lodge

approx. 2-3 hours plus game drives

After breakfast your exciting Tanzania safari begins. You set off towards Lake Manyara National Park. The reserve covers a large part of the Lake Manyara soda lake, which is visited seasonally by flamingo colonies and many other waterbirds. On the lake shores, on your first safari in Tanzania, you can observe hippos, elephants, buffalo, monkeys and various gazelles and antelopes. The national park became famous for sightings of tree-climbing lions. This behaviour is actually very untypical of lions, but can now also be observed in other parks, such as the Serengeti. Of course, it always takes a good deal of luck to see big cats and especially to spot lions in a tree. After exploring the national park extensively, you continue to your lodge. The new Baghayo Garden Suites, with only 14 rooms, exude a family atmosphere in a beautiful tropical garden.

  • Your accommodation: Serengeti Bush Camp

2 nights · double room · full board The Serengeti Bush Camp is a cosy, semi-permanent safari camp in the heart of the Tanzanian Serengeti. It combines a close-to-nature tented experience with comfortable facilities and offers guests a quiet, personal atmosphere away from large lodges. The camp is ideal for travellers looking for an authentic safari experience who want to experience the sounds and vastness of the Serengeti first-hand.

    Serengeti National Park

    Serengeti Bush Camp

Today you enjoy full-day game drives.
