Day 2
Reykjavik – Golden Circle – South Coast
In the morning, we'll explore Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. Afterwards, we'll visit a dairy farm. Besides learning about the life of a dairy farmer, we'll sample homemade products such as ice cream and skyr. The famous Haukadalur geothermal area is the highlight of the day: Here you'll find the mighty Geysir and its active counterpart, Strokkur, which regularly erupts, shooting a fountain 25 to 30 meters high into the air. Finally, we'll reach Gullfoss waterfall, which plunges over two cascades into a deep canyon and is particularly captivating even in winter. We'll then continue south to Cape Dyrhólaey, where we'll check into our hotel for the next two nights. In the evening, keep an eye out for the legendary Northern Lights.

Day 3
Day trip to the glacier lagoon – Skaftafell National Park
At the southern tip of Iceland, we can admire the black lava beach, the towering bird cliffs, and the famous sea stacks rising from the surf. We cross the Skeidararsandur glacial outwash plain to reach southeastern Iceland. At the southern reaches of Vatnajökull, Europe's largest glacier at over 8,100 km², we stop at Skaftafell National Park. The journey continues to the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon. Icebergs of all sizes float on the water, streaked with black lines, some of which originate from volcanic ash – an unforgettable natural spectacle. We then return to the south coast. Perhaps the colorful Northern Lights will appear in the sky tonight.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed; their visibility depends on solar activity and weather.
