Overview

You discover Mallorca’s quiet side: a coastal hike on the Alcúdia peninsula, the pilgrims’ path to Lluc Monastery, past the Cúber reservoir to Port de Sóller and along the coastal path from Deià to Sóller. Stony cobbled paths and steps, stages of 12 to 15 km.

You'll hike through Mallorca's impressive Tramuntana Mountains and discover a completely new side of this popular Balearic island. The Spanish call their island "La Luminosa" – the Enlightened One – and that's exactly how it reveals itself: surprising, multifaceted, and always in a new light. Away from the well-trodden paths, you'll explore the true heart of Mallorca on quiet trails. In the Serra de Tramuntana, well-maintained hiking trails lead you through a wild, pristine landscape of grasses and rugged cliffs. You'll wander through centuries-old olive groves, reach charming villages with magnificent mansions and historic palaces, and repeatedly enjoy breathtaking views of the deep blue sea and offshore islands. The perfect balance of activity and relaxation awaits you in idyllic coastal towns, where sun, sand, and sea invite you to linger. On this trip you will experience the “other” Mallorca – active, authentic and intense: a unique combination of coast and mountains, a special overnight stay in the Lluc Monastery, a nostalgic ride with the “Red Lightning” and finally the lively flair of the bustling island capital Palma.
