A safari by women for women… This special women's tour through Uganda combines impressive safari experiences, authentic encounters, and female empowerment into an extraordinary travel experience. Designed specifically for women, this trip is ideal for solo travelers as well as groups of friends, mothers and daughters, or women who want to discover Uganda together with a small group of like-minded individuals. You will be accompanied throughout your trip by Veronica, an experienced Ugandan tour guide and driver. A female-led tour of Uganda offers a unique perspective on the country, its people, and its culture. It also provides many women with an added sense of security and confidence, especially for solo travelers and first-time visitors. Within the group, a trusting and safe space is created, where openness, sharing, and mutual support are paramount. This trip is specifically designed for women and is also ideal for solo travelers: An experienced Ugandan tour guide and driver accompanies the small group, and along the way you'll encounter women's projects and entrepreneurs, visit a women's cooperative with a shea butter workshop, and participate in a workshop at Ride 4 a Woman. The itinerary also includes rhino tracking in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, safaris in Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park, and boat safaris on the Nile and the Kazinga Channel. Optionally, you can visit chimpanzees in Kibale Forest and mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Together with a maximum of 12 participants, we will guide you to some of the most beautiful nature and wildlife experiences in the Pearl of Africa. At the same time, encounters with inspiring women, local entrepreneurs, and women's projects are a central focus. Whether at a women's cooperative, a shea butter workshop, or an initiative to promote women in Uganda, you will repeatedly witness the positive impact that female empowerment can have at the local level.

The initiative exemplifies female empowerment in Uganda and demonstrates how women can strengthen and support each other. Depending on your interests, you can participate in a workshop of your choice. Whether it's basket weaving, sewing, traditional dances, or a bike tour through the community, the activities offer opportunities for personal encounters and an authentic glimpse into the daily lives of the local women. This personal exchange is what makes this encounter a special part of the trip, creating connections and perspectives that can have a lasting impact on both sides.
