Michaelmas Cay Island • Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

Experience the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Great Barrier Reef on a full-day excursion. In the morning, you'll set sail on a catamaran into the reef landscape. Listen to the explanations of a marine biologist as you head towards Michaelmas Cay. This sandy island on the reef is a bird sanctuary and boasts an impressive diversity of marine life. From the beach, you can peacefully observe fish or turtles while snorkeling (snorkeling equipment included). You'll gain in-depth information and insights into the coral world of the reef during a trip on a semi-submersible boat. This excursion is a public tour with a German-speaking guide. Unlike a private tour, you'll explore Michaelmas Cay together with other guests. (B/L)
