Arrival
Arrival in Ucluelet
For travel to Ucluelet (pronounced like "You kill it"), we recommend a rental car, as the small coastal town has very limited public transport connections. Travel by seaplane or bus shuttle service may also be an option. If there is still time in the afternoon, we recommend a walk on the Wild Pacific Trail - a scenic circular route with spectacular views of the sea, the cliffs and the rainforest. In the evening, you'll meet your guide and the other participants for a short briefing. Overnight accommodation is not included in the tour price – we're happy to assist with booking. Early booking is recommended, as accommodation options are limited, especially during the summer holidays.

Day 1
Kayak expedition in the Broken Group Islands
Camping
Your adventure begins with a water taxi that takes the group and equipment to the starting point of the tour. Along the way, the guide provides initial information while you enjoy the breathtaking coastal scenery. We will be dropped off at one of the many sandy beaches in the Broken Group, where we will unload our luggage and transfer it to the kayaks. Afterwards, you will receive a kayaking introduction to prepare you for your first paddling trip. The tour itinerary will be tailored to the group's abilities and the weather conditions. We plan to paddle for 4-6 hours daily, leaving plenty of time for exploration and learning. Our goal is to make your stay as enjoyable and fun as possible. Around midday we'll take our first break, during which your guide will prepare a delicious lunch. Afterwards, we'll continue paddling in the park. In the afternoon, your guide will decide where we'll camp for the night, choosing one of the seven designated campsites in the Broken Group. There, you'll receive a camping briefing and set up your tent for the night. Dinner is served once everyone has settled in and had a chance to relax. Every evening we gather around the campfire to share our best experiences of the day and watch the sunset in this extraordinary wilderness.
