Day 2
Toronto and Niagara Falls
Today your Eastern Canada tour begins. Meet your tour guide and fellow travelers at 7:45 a.m. in the hotel lobby. This morning, a sightseeing tour will give you a taste of the vibrant metropolis of Toronto, Canada's largest urban center. You'll pass landmarks such as the impressive Rogers Centre sports stadium, the University of Toronto, and the iconic CN Tower, which dominates the cityscape like no other building. Afterwards, the tour continues on foot through the modern Yorkville shopping district, a haven of luxury and style. Here, chic boutiques mingle with art galleries and trendy restaurants and cafes. In the late morning, you leave the hustle and bustle of the city and head towards Niagara Falls – the next highlight of your tour through Eastern Canada. From a tourist perspective, it's no less hectic here, but that's hardly surprising, since everyone wants to see the thundering Niagara Falls at least once in their life. Slip on a typical brightly colored rain poncho and set off on a packed boat to get as close as possible to the impressive waterfalls. Afterward, you can explore the area a bit on foot and, from a greater distance, take some beautiful souvenir photos. The Niagara Peninsula is Ontario's premier wine and fruit-growing region. You'll drive through the vineyards and find a quiet spot away from the crowds at Niagara Falls to enjoy a picnic of local delicacies with your fellow travelers. Back in Toronto, you can explore the city at night or simply relax for the evening. (F/P) (Distance: approx. 270 km; Travel time: approx. 3.5 hours)

Day 4
Ottawa – Quebec City
Since the center of the Canadian capital is relatively small, you'll explore it today on a relaxed morning stroll. You'll wander through ByWard Market, one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, and visit the street market of the same name, which has been operating here since 1840. Numerous street food stalls await you, showcasing the latest trends in the Canadian foodie scene. Before saying goodbye to Ottawa, pay a visit to Nepean Point and enjoy the best panoramic view of the city. And now we're off again towards Quebec City. Even though Canada, due to its sheer size, boasts a diverse culinary scene, it has nevertheless managed to agree on a national dish. Poutine, consisting of crispy fries, cheese curds, and smothered in gravy, is the undisputed number one fast food and the official national dish of Canada. Forget about counting calories today, because you're treating yourself to a portion of poutine in one of the towns in rural Quebec, where the dish may well have originated. There are, in fact, a few towns that vie for the title and claim it as their own. Quebec City awaits you as the only fortified city in North America north of Mexico, with nearly 4.6 km of walls and imposing gates to explore. As the cradle of French civilization in North America, a visit to Quebec is like a living history lesson. Look forward to a remarkable blend of architecture, heritage, art, and culture. 2 nights in Quebec City. (B/L) (Distance traveled: approx. 440 km; travel time: approx. 4.5 hours)

Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island
Today you'll take a boat to the unique Île Bonaventure, an island located just a few kilometers off the coast of Percé. At approximately 4 km², the island is quite small, but it boasts unique flora and fauna, as it's home to the second-largest gannet colony in the world! You may have already seen these birds on the German North Sea island of Heligoland, where a colony of this species also lives, albeit a comparatively small one. From the boat, you can get another close look at the impressive Percé Rock and admire the coastal landscapes and towering cliffs throughout the Percé Rock and Bonaventure Island Park, where countless seabirds nest. Keep an eye out for grey seals basking on sandbanks and rocks. Once on Île Bonaventure, you'll disembark and have time to explore the island, perhaps with binoculars and a camera in hand, to observe the birds and seals. Back in Percé, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy fresh fish specialties like salmon and lobster prepared in the local style at a local restaurant for dinner. Your tour guide will be happy to recommend a restaurant that might particularly suit your preferences. (F)
