Overview
From Vancouver you travel via the Shuswap Lakes into the Rocky Mountains to Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper, on through the interior to Prince Rupert and by ferry through the Inside Passage to Vancouver Island. Glacier lakes, rainforests, the Pacific coast and plenty of history – with no sporting demands.
Canada – a land of vastness, contrasts, and vibrant colors. Between the rugged Pacific coast with its fjords and rainforests, the gentle ranch landscapes and small logging towns of the interior, and the majestic Rocky mountain ranges, a natural landscape unfolds that is as diverse as it is breathtaking. Emerald-green glacial lakes, endless forests, snow-capped peaks, and the play of light across rivers and prairies make every leg of the journey an unforgettable experience. But Canada is more than just landscapes. History is everywhere – from the ancient traditions of the Indigenous peoples to the traces of the settlers who ventured into the wilderness barely 150 years ago. Today, charming coastal towns, vibrant cities, and welcoming people reflect the modern, relaxed lifestyle of this vast country. A journey that harmoniously blends nature, culture, and joie de vivre.
