Overview
Every day brings something new: short hikes through rainforest with ancient cedars, to waterfalls and wild Pacific beaches, plus a kayak tour, an e-bike ride and whale watching. Moderate day trips of mostly one to four hours, with nights in hotels.
This hotel trip offers exciting new activities every day. Just a short drive away on Vancouver Island, you'll find stunning beaches for sunbathing, surfing, and swimming, as well as hiking trails that lead to glaciers and alpine lakes. Vancouver Island is a paradise for nature lovers: dense rainforests alternate with centuries-old cedars and Douglas firs, blooming alpine meadows, rushing waterfalls, and hidden lakes. Along the wild, Pacific-swept coasts, you'll experience the impressive power of the ocean – with thundering waves, secret coves, and endless beaches. The island is also a hotspot for wildlife viewing: whales, dolphins, and seals frolic in the sea, while eagles, black bears, and sometimes even cougars can be spotted on land. Combined with charming coastal towns, cultural insights into the lives of the First Nations, and the relaxed lifestyle of the islanders, this creates a blend that makes Vancouver Island one of Canada's most fascinating travel destinations.
