Overview

With a German-speaking guide you travel from Vancouver through the Okanagan Valley into the Rockies to Banff and Jasper, north via Prince George to the Salmon Glacier near Stewart and Hyder, and along the Stewart-Cassiar Highway to Skagway and Whitehorse.

From the Pacific metropolis to the wilderness of the Yukon: This journey connects the most famous national parks of the Canadian Rockies with the lonely expanses of the North – accompanied by a German-speaking tour guide. After two days in vibrant Vancouver, the journey continues through the sunny Okanagan Valley with its vineyards into the Rocky Mountains. You'll marvel at Lake Louise, drive along the Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefield, and discover Maligne Canyon in Jasper. From there, things get even wilder: Via Prince George and the "Little Switzerland" of Smithers, you reach Stewart and the small Alaskan town of Hyder with its magnificent Salmon Glacier. On the Stewart-Cassiar Highway, you enter the Yukon, experience the Gold Rush atmosphere of Skagway, and end your journey in Whitehorse. This trip can be perfectly combined with an extension deeper into Alaska.
