Overview
From Calgary you hike and camp in Banff, Yoho and Jasper, travel via Wells Gray Park and its waterfalls and the plateaus of British Columbia to Whistler, and cross over to Vancouver Island. There Strathcona Park, rainforests and a kayak expedition from Tofino await – no experience needed.
During these three weeks, you'll experience a magnificent route from the Rocky Mountains to Vancouver Island. First, you'll hike and camp in the world-famous national parks of the Rockies, home to the impressive Columbia Icefield. Then, the journey takes you westward: through Wells Gray Provincial Park with its waterfalls, across the diverse highlands and mountain landscapes of British Columbia, and into the coastal mountains of Garibaldi Provincial Park near Whistler. Finally, you'll take the ferry to Vancouver Island, where a completely different world awaits: hikes along rugged coastlines and in the island's mountains, as well as a kayaking trip to a small island with unforgettable wild camping on the beach. This tour combines the best of nature, adventure and group experience: varied activities during the day and cooking together, relaxing and campfire romance at the campsites in the evening.
