Overview
Away from the usual routes you hike from south to north through the Serra de Tramuntana: Sant Elm and Sa Trapa monastery, Banyalbufar, Valldemossa, Alaró Castle, Sóller and a night at Lluc Monastery. With Puig de Massanella as the summit goal – stages of up to 19 km and 900 m of ascent.
Experience Mallorca at its finest on our guided hiking tour through the impressive Tramuntana Mountains – from south to north, far from the usual tourist routes. We start in the island's capital, Palma, and hike to Port d'Andratx, continuing through the charming mountain village of Alaró with its lively squares and cozy restaurants, until we finally reach Port de Pollença. A special highlight awaits you at Mallorca's largest monastery, nestled in the mountains: where monks once lived in simple cells, we now enjoy comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms and all amenities. Our eventful hike culminates on the wide sandy beach of Port de Pollença – perfect for relaxing on the long promenade. Fancy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear sea to top it all off?

Nature-led
This hiking tour through Mallorca's Tramuntana Mountains requires a good level of fitness, sure-footedness, and hiking experience. The daily stages vary between approximately 8 and 19 kilometers in length, usually last between 3 and 6 hours, and sometimes lead along steep, rocky, or unpaved paths with elevation gains of up to 900 meters. Participants should enjoy diverse landscapes and longer hikes, be prepared for moderate to long ascents and descents, and be able to navigate gravel paths, forest trails, and panoramic sections.
Flexibility is also required, as the route combines cultural highlights (such as city tours or visits to monasteries) with relaxing sections – for example, on the beach and promenade. Suitable hiking equipment, weather-appropriate clothing, and a spirit of camaraderie for the shared experience of nature are essential for enjoying this adventure hike across Mallorca.
