Overview
Surrounded by the Terze, Siera and Rinaldo ranges, a quiet, fascinating mountain world awaits you around Sappada. On five guided hikes you walk into the Valle dei Silenzi, up to the Tuglia alpine pasture, to the source of the Piave at Monte Peralba and around the Tre Cime di Lavaredo.
Enclosed by the Terze, Sierra, and Rinaldo mountain ranges, a captivating mountain landscape invites you to enjoy extensive hikes. The trails repeatedly lead us to the Piave River, which rises here at the foot of Monte Peralba and flows into the Venetian Lagoon. Even in the height of summer, a tranquil peace prevails in the eastern Dolomites. On the guided hikes, we will ascend up to 600 meters in altitude and cover distances of approximately 10 to 15 kilometers. A hiking holiday in the Dolomites also includes a tour in the Tre Cime Nature Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Our efforts are rewarded in the evening with varied three-course meals. The head chef of our hotel makes a hiking holiday in the Dolomites a culinary experience as well. During a small tasting, we will also get to know the "simple" local delicacies such as cheese and ham.

Walking time approx. 5 hours, distance approx. 14 km, elevation gain approx. 250 m
Our hike begins right at the hotel again today. We walk to the nearby Piave River. Passing the golf course, we continue to the Rio Storto (Krumpbach), which we follow for a while. Day 7
The Three Peaks
Hotel in Sappada
Walking time approx. 4.5 hours, distance approx. 12 km
The highlight of our hiking trip: We visit the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks). From the Auronzo Hut (2,320 m), we hike to the Lavaredo Hut and from there climb Lavaredo (2,450 m). Here we enjoy a fantastic view of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the Sexten Dolomites. We continue on to the Locatelli Hut. On the way back, we pass three beautiful little mountain lakes where the surrounding peaks are reflected. It's become common knowledge that the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks) are something truly special. To cope with the increasing number of visitors to and around the Tre Cime, we sometimes have to improvise to find a less frequented route. This might change the hike slightly and make it a bit longer, but it's well worth it!
