This privately guided trip combines culture and nature. You discover Cusco and the Sacred Valley with Chinchero, Maras, Moray and the salt mines, hike the last section of the Inca Trail via Wiñay Wayna to Machu Picchu and then experience the wildlife of the biodiverse Manu cloud forest.

From the mysterious Inca city of Machu Picchu to the colorful wildlife of the Manu cloud forest: this journey combines Peru's most famous cultural highlights with one of the richest natural areas on earth. After arriving in Cusco, you explore the former capital of the Incas and the Sacred Valley with Chinchero, Moray, the salt ponds of Maras and Ollantaytambo. You then hike the last section of the Inca Trail from Km 104 via Wiñay Wayna and enter Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate. The next morning, you explore the Lost City on a guided tour. The second part of the journey takes you over the Andes into the cloud forest of the Manu Biosphere Reserve. At the Cock-of-the-Rock Lodge, you watch Peru's national bird at its courtship display, look for quetzals, toucans, tanagers and hummingbirds and descend to the mid-elevation rainforest near Atalaya.
