Today a real adventure awaits you in the city! Take a ride in a becak (a traditional bicycle taxi) through the narrow streets and visit the famous Kraton – the Sultan's Palace. Perhaps you'd like to catch a Wayang Kulit shadow puppet show or see how artistic fabrics are created in a batik workshop. Perfect for picking up some unique souvenirs! In the afternoon, a very special highlight awaits: You'll travel to the impressive Borobudur temple complex – the largest Buddhist structure in the world. Start your day actively with a guided bike tour through rural Java. In the cool morning hours, you'll cycle past rice paddies and small villages, and discover local craft workshops – from tofu production to brickworks. You can hardly experience the everyday life of the people here in a more authentic way. In the afternoon you'll visit Prambanan, a masterpiece of Hindu temple art. Over 200 temples await your discovery – most notably the imposing Shiva temple with its intricate stone reliefs. The setting seems like it's from another era.

Today you continue your journey by train – a perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and chat with locals. You'll travel in air-conditioned first class to Mojokerto. There you'll be picked up and taken to Malang, a city with colonial charm and modern vibrancy, surrounded by volcanoes.

Pure adventure: You travel to Tumpang and there transfer to an open-top jeep. This takes you through jungle, past waterfalls, and across the "sea of sand" in the Tengger Crater. Your destination: Mount Bromo. Your accommodation is located right on the crater rim – with a spectacular view that will leave you speechless.

Getting up early is worth it! You'll experience the sunrise over Mount Bromo – an unforgettable moment. After climbing to the crater rim, you'll return to the hotel for breakfast and then travel on to Kalibaru. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing in the rural surroundings.

Today you continue east, where you'll stay in a quiet hotel on the coast – the starting point for your next volcanic adventure. The Ijen crater is known for its bright blue lake and the sulfur miners who toil in the caldera.

The adventure begins at dawn: you'll hike with a guide to the Ijen crater. At the top, an incredible sight awaits: the turquoise-green sulfur lake surrounded by steep cliffs. After the descent, breakfast awaits before you take the ferry to Bali. Welcome to paradise! Your destination is Pemuteran, a tranquil fishing village with stunning beaches.

Today you'll discover the colorful underwater world around Menjangan Island. While snorkeling, you'll glide over vibrant coral reefs and see fish of every color. A delicious picnic lunch awaits you on board. A perfect day on and under the water!

You leave the coast and head towards Ubud. Along the way, you visit the Buddhist monastery of Brahma Vihara Arama and take a relaxing dip in the hot springs of Banjar. Afterwards, you travel through the lush highlands, past waterfalls, rice terraces, and the Ulun Danu Temple, situated right in the lake – a truly photogenic spot! You arrive in Ubud in the afternoon.

Today it's back on the bike: After breakfast with a view of Mount Batur, you'll cycle downhill through villages, forests, and plantations. You'll learn a lot about Balinese culture, visit a traditional house and a village temple, and hike through rice terraces. A delicious lunch will round off this special day.

The morning is yours to enjoy in Ubud – perhaps for some last-minute souvenirs? In the afternoon, you'll be taken to the south coast, to Sanur. Stroll along the long sandy beach and sample the Balinese cuisine at the night market.
