Day 1
Travel to Kiel
Inside cabin on the ferry to Oslo
Individual travel to Kiel. The Color Line ferry departs at 14:00. Enjoy the wide range of facilities on board! Treat yourself in one of the many restaurants and cafés, enjoy the varied entertainment programme or go shopping. All this is possible on the cruise ferries Color Magic and Color Fantasy! Overnight on board.

Inside cabin on the ferry to Oslo
Individual travel to Kiel. The Color Line ferry departs at 14:00. Enjoy the wide range of facilities on board! Treat yourself in one of the many restaurants and cafés, enjoy the varied entertainment programme or go shopping. All this is possible on the cruise ferries Color Magic and Color Fantasy! Overnight on board.
Day 2
Arrival in Oslo – drive to the Skeikampen ski area

In the morning you reach Oslo and continue your journey north by car. Past picturesque landscapes and snowy forests, the road winds through small villages and over gentle hills until you reach the ski region around Skeikampen and move into your cabin or apartment for the coming week.

In the morning you reach Oslo and continue your journey north by car. Past picturesque landscapes and snowy forests, the road winds through small villages and over gentle hills until you reach the ski region around Skeikampen and move into your cabin or apartment for the coming week.

The charming ski region of Skeikampen offers 21 km of slopes on 17 runs, ideal for all levels. While the long and varied slopes delight alpine skiers, the off-piste areas offer extra fun and are especially popular with snowboarders. Cross-country skiers also get their money's worth here on one of the best-developed trail networks, covering a full 220 km and connecting to the famous Peer Gynt network. The area is also ideal for families: besides cross-country and downhill skiing, you can take a fast spin on the ice rink, or after the lifts close you can toboggan down the snowy slopes and enjoy a hot glögg at the Vikingerland après-ski. The small village has a small supermarket at the ski centre and also boasts the Thon Hotel with a spa area and restaurant. For more shopping options, simply drive to the larger supermarket near Skeikampen Fjellandsby. The accommodation in Fjellandsby is only about 600 metres from the ski centre and around 200 metres from the cross-country trails.

This ski trip is suitable for families, friends and anyone who likes to travel independently. You arrive in your own car by ferry and stay self-catering in a cabin or apartment. How you spend your days – on the slopes, on the cross-country trails or on a cosy day at the cabin – is entirely up to you.

Notes on the trip
Accommodation: Fjellandsby cabin, approx. 45 m²
The cosy semi-detached cabin is a perfect self-catering base, just a short walk from the ski slopes and the supermarket. Inside, a small but cosy living area awaits you with a fireplace for snug warmth and a balcony where you can enjoy the view. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your meals with ease. There is one bedroom with a double bed and another room with a bunk bed and a single bed.
Accommodation: Skei Leilighetssenter Apartments, approx. 53 m²
The comfortable apartment is an excellent self-catering option, just a few minutes' walk from the ski slopes and the supermarket. The cosy living/dining area is ideal for relaxing after a day in the snow and has a TV and a balcony where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare your meals with ease. The apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two bunk beds. Perfect for a comfortable and practical stay in the winter season.

Arrival on other days of the week possible on request. If you are interested in travelling by plane with a rental car on site, just write to us. The furnishings of the accommodation may differ from the pictures; however, the standard and amenities are always identical. We are happy to book suitable flights at the current fare for a surcharge.
